Common questions
Why is there no per-service bill?
Because there are no extra services. Compute, data, edge and clustering ship in one binary — you pay for usage on the runtime, not for a fleet of Redis, Kafka and Kubernetes nodes to keep alive.
Can I self-host instead?
Yes. Kitwork Engine — the runtime that powers every plan — is open source under AGPL-3.0. Run it on your own hardware for free; upgrade to a managed plan when you want clustering and SLAs without the ops.
What happens if I exceed my request limit?
Nothing breaks. We notify you and meter overage at a transparent per-request rate — no surprise throttling, no silent failures.
Do you offer data residency?
